Big Brother ??????

Started by: GOLDEN BEAR (6556)

I have read that the Head of the Police are asking the Goverment for permission to set up a data base via DVLA by requesting everybbodies Photo's from their driving licences , currently they have some 50 MILLION Photo's of all BRITAINS DRIVERS . They say (police) it will help a lot in their crime prevention schemes, " so they say" But i do believe in progress , ,but i think this is step too far , My main concern is that can you imagine if they had us all on computer data base then say it was HACKED ?????? The underworld would be like winning the EURO& LOTTERY all in one go !!!!! I do think WE the Electorate should have a voice in this move .

They'll do very well if they can get a photograph off my license.

Maybe I am thinking too hard here GB but if I was a member of the underworld and wanted a copy of your photo I would just hack the DVLA database……..because it’s already there!!!

Not everyone has a driving license , anyone who has something to hide will not apply for one, Lots of Asian Taxi drives use, Mohamad Patel's licence, he's the most stopped Asian by the police and he varies from a 17 year old to a 70 year old because, after 70, a picture licence is all you can have,

GB its because you are an upstanding and forthright player in the society of working honest people,
Unlike the lowlife who keep their outdated paper licences in the thinking that, If they get a ban for drinking and driving or topping up, They just give the courts the old licence and keep the new one, Well won't they get a surprise when they learn , Its all on the data base anyway, They may think because they did not allow it, the Gov't don't know,
BOOM,,,,,,,,,, Big bro ir here and has been for ages,,HA HA
